New Brunswick
Express Entry Labour Market Stream
The New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS) is designed to target high-skilled foreign workers who can contribute to the New Brunswick economy.
New Brunswick has several immigration streams, including:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:
- Be between 22 and 55 years old
- Have an active Express Entry profile
- Be eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Currently live and work in New Brunswick, and include a letter of employment from the employer with the EOI
- Work in a position at NOC Code 0, A, or B
- Hold a valid Canadian Work Permit
- Have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7)
- Have an Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA) showing education equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma
New Brunswick
Entrepreneurial Stream
The New Brunswick Entrepreneurial stream is designed to target international entrepreneurs, experienced business owners, senior business managers, or investors who wish to reside in New Brunswick.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:
- Be between 22 and 55 years old
- Have visited New Brunswick for at least five (5) business days within the last two (2) years, or participated in an Entrepreneurial Stream information session within the last two (2) years
- Have an academic degree from a college or university that required at least three (3) years of full-time study, or a diploma in a specific trade that required at least two (2) years of full-time study
- Own and manage a business for at least three (3) years
- Have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 5 (CLB 5)
- Have a personal net worth of $600,000 CAD, and invest $250,000 CAD into the business they establish in New Brunswick
- Score at least 65 points on the New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream Assessment Grid
New Brunswick
Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream
The New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial stream is designed to target foreign nationals who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in New Brunswick and have successfully established a business in the province.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:
- Be between 22 and 40 years old
- Have studied full-time at a recognized university in New Brunswick, or the New Brunswick Community College, in a post-secondary program of at least two years
- Have lived in New Brunswick during the academic program
- Have a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit at the time of application
- Have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7)
- Own a business that has been operational for at least 1 year
- Score at least 65 points on the New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream Assessment Grid
New Brunswick
Skilled Workers with Employer Support
The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Applicants with Employer Support stream is designed to target highly skilled foreign workers with a valid job offer from a designated New Brunswick employer.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must::
- Be between 19 and 55 years old
- Have a valid job offer from an eligible New Brunswick employer
- Have the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma
- Have the education and work experience needed to perform duties of the job they have been offered in New Brunswick
- Have a valid language test scores in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 (CLB 4)
- Score a least 60 points (out of 100) on the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Applicant Points Assessment Grid
