Ontario

Ontario Human Capital - Human Capital Priorities – Express Entry

The Ontario Human Capital – Human Capital Priorities – Express Entry stream is designed to target highly-qualified skilled workers from the federal Express Entry pool, who wish to be lasting members of the province’s workforce. The program operates by invitation only, as the province will send a Notification of Interest (NOI) to the Express Entry accounts of the candidates it invites to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score at 400 points or higher
Have a Canadian bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree, or its equivalent in another country
Have a valid language test score in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7) or higher
Have sufficient financial resources to support yourself and your dependent family members
Demonstrate intention to live in Ontario
Have legal status in Canada

Ontario Human Capital - French-Speaking Skilled Worker – Express Entry

The Ontario Human Capital – French-Speaking Skilled Worker – Express Entry stream is designed to target skilled workers from the federal Express Entry pool, who possess proficiency in English and French, and wish to be lasting members of the province’s workforce. The program operates by invitation only, as the province will send a Notification of Interest (NOI) to the Express Entry accounts of the candidates it invites to apply.

Ontario Human Capital - Skilled Trades – Express Entry

The Ontario Human Capital – Skilled Trades – Express Entry stream is designed to target skilled trades workers from the federal Express Entry pool, who already live in Ontario and have work experience in a skilled trade in the province. The program operates by invitation only, as the province will send a Notification of Interest (NOI) to the Express Entry accounts of the candidates it invites to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have an active Express Entry profile in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program
Reside in Ontario
Have a valid work permit
Have a valid language test score in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 5 (CLB 5) or greater in all four abilities
Have at least one (1) year of full-time work experience in Ontario in an eligible skilled trade
Have the financial resources to meet the settlement fund requirements, determined by the IRCC

Ontario

Ontario Human Capital - Masters Graduate

The Ontario Human Capital – Masters Graduate stream is designed to target recent graduates with master’s degrees obtained at an eligible Ontario institution.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have resided in Ontario for at least 12 out of the 24 months prior to the application
Have a valid language test score in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 7 (CLB 7) or greater
Have completed a master’s degree from an eligible Ontario institution within the last two (2) years
Provide proof of intention to reside in Ontario permanently
Have the financial resources to meet the settlement fund requirements, determined by the IRCC

Ontario

Ontario Human Capital - PhD Graduate

The Ontario Human Capital – PhD Graduate stream is designed to target recent graduates with doctoral degrees obtained at an eligible Ontario institution.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have resided in Ontario for at least 12 out of the 24 months prior to the application
Have completed a doctoral degree from an eligible Ontario institution within the last two (2) years
Provide proof of intention to reside in Ontario permanently
Have the financial resources to meet the settlement fund requirements, determined by the IRCC

Ontario Employer Job Offer - Foreign Worker

The Ontario Employer Job Offer – Foreign Worker stream is designed to target foreign nationals with skilled work experience, who possess a valid job offer from an Ontario employer.

Ontario Employer Job Offer - International Student with a Job Offer

The Ontario Employer Job Offer – International Student with a Job Offer stream is designed to target foreign nationals who have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer, and completed a Canadian educational credential.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have a valid job offer for full-time, permanent employment from an Ontario employer, in a position at NOC Code Level 0, A, or B
Meet the educational requirements:
Have a degree or diploma that takes at least two (2) years of full-time study to complete, or
Have a degree or diploma that takes one (1) year to complete, but requires a previously completed degree as a prerequisite
Hold a valid license, certificate, or authorization to practice the job being offered, if applicable
Provide proof of intention to reside in Ontario permanently

Ontario

Ontario Employer Job Offer - In-Demand Skills

The Ontario Employer Job Offer – In-Demand Skills stream is designed to target foreign nationals with work experience in one of Ontario’s in-demand occupations, gained within the province, and who have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

To be eligible for applying to this stream, applicants must:

Have a valid job offer for full-time, permanent employment from an Ontario employer, in one of the OINP In-Demand Occupations
Have a valid language test score in either English or French equal to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 (CLB 4) or higher
Have the equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma or higher
Have one (1) year of full-time work experience obtained within the previous three (3) years, in the same position as the occupation in their job offer
Hold a valid license, certificate, or authorization to practice the job being offered, if applicable
Provide proof of intention to reside in Ontario permanently
Have the financial resources to meet the settlement fund requirements, determined by the IRCC
